Cleaning Up.

Selden Research is a privately owned company based just outside Buxton in the High Peak National Park. Selden manufactures a wide range of cleaning and maintenance chemicals for industrial and automotive users. Having been consistently successful over the past twenty five years, Selden Research has extended its premises four times. The latest one gave them 2, 500 additional pallet positions.

Redirack were the chosen supplier of the storage system. It has a narrow aisle configuration and rises to just over 10 metres. Within the aisles the fork lift trucks are wire guided. To cater for varying pallet heights there is a mixture of 3 or 7 beam levels per bay. Sacrificial legs are fitted to the front leg of the first upright of each run, these being the legs most likely to get knocked by the lift trucks.

Phil Bowden, Production Manager says "Redirack were chosen to supply the racking system because they inspired confidence. We felt happy that they would do the job correctly and the quality of their product looked very good. We also liked the sacrificial leg which struck us as a very good idea for saving time and money when repairing damaged frames. In the event they more than lived up to our expectations and we would certainly buy from them again."
