Food for thought.

Nutricia Limited produces some of Europe's most popular baby and nutritional food products. As part of recent improvements to the company's Wells facility, a new warehouse has been built. Redirack was the chosen supplier of the racking system which provides narrow aisle storage for 10,500 full pallet loads of finished product and wide aisle storage for a further 3,000 pallets.

The narrow aisle scheme reaches 11.2 metres and comprises eight 1900mm wide aisles. To optimise storage capacity the racking runs vary in height with the roof profile. The racking in the wide aisle area rises to 9 metres and typically offers 5 bam levels. Redirack's sacrificial leg is a feature of the racking in this area.

Steve House, Nutricia's Finance and Logistics Manager was very pleased with Redirack's performance; "The installation went very well and was completed on time. I was particularly impressed with the way the Redirack engineers maximised the storage volumes within the varying roof heights of the storage cube. I would use Redirack again."
