Netherlands-based Furness Logistics is one of Europe's leading suppliers of third party warehouse and distribution services, with clients including Henkel, Suzuki, Fina, Shell and Tomy. When the company opened their 40, 000 sq.ft. distribution centre in Milton Keynes, they chose Redirack to design and install the storage system.

The system comprises 10 runs of wide aisle racking, with either 3 or 4 beam levels. Column protectors and rack-end barriers have been incorporated into the design, while the front legs of the uprights are fitted with Redirack's sacrificial leg.

Furness are delighted with their new facility, Jerry Rudd Manager of the recently opened Furness Logistics (UK) confirms "The Redirack installation team worked very hard and the storage system design enables us to get the most out of the available area. We have the room within this site to extend the racking scheme at some time in the future and when we do we will almost certainly go back to Redirack."
