Benefits of warehouse racking

One of the main benefits of warehouse racking is maximising storage space, but besides this, there are other benefits that make warehouse racking a viable option, these include:

  • Improved inventory organisation of goods – racks can be easily addressed in comparison to stockpiling goods on the floor.

  • Decrease in damaged goods – racking systems are designed to contain palletised goods which greatly reduces the risk of damage to stock.

  • Increased employee safety – damage to racks is a common problem wherever there is a high volume of handling machinery operating on a daily basis. Redirack also manufacture a comprehensive range of racking protection barriers and other products designed to help you to ensure that your warehouse complies with the Health & Safety at Work 1974 regulations.

  • Save money from leasing extra storage space – your existing space is maximised reducing the need to seek additional storage elsewhere.

  • Increased productivity – palletised loads stored on pallet racking ensures products can easily be located and accessed by fork-lift trucks saving time and money.
