Within the new warehouse is a racking system that includes both wide and narrow aisle sections. Making maximum use of the headroom the storage system rises to over twelve metres, and in some areas has ten beam levels.

Designed around a 1200 by 1000mm pallet, the storage system is split into three areas to enable pallets to be stored within either wide or narrow aisle racking. Aisles are 2837mm wide in the wide aisle area, and 1750mm wide in the narrow aisle area. The narrow aisle area features cantilever P&Ds with additional storage above. All the racking uprights are finished in the companies corporate blue.

There are around 5,000 pallets movements weekly at the site, and the system is working well. New contracts with well known blue chip retailers are set to increase throughput.
