Over the years, RediRack has worked with DEYA Brewing Company to design warehouse racking that improves how goods are stored and streamlines day-to-day operations. Our most recent project was required to help meet the demand of this rapidly growing business.
Optimise Racking for your Business
DEYA contacted RediRack in 2020 after expanding into its second warehouse in 2019. They required pallet racking to store pallets of goods and placed an order for adjustable pallet racking along with anti-collapse mesh to protect the wall that separates the chill store.
During the next project in 2021, the focus was on optimising the chill store; they wanted to store hops and freshly brewed beers safely and efficiently. The finished product provided 250 pallet locations, all fully galvanised with anti-collapse mesh and rack end beams.
Since then, they have added to the existing racking and amended the configuration of bays to match their changing needs. Most recently, an expansion of the chill store required a complete overhaul of the racking layout.
Make the most of Warehouse Space
The plan for this project was to reconfigure the current racking for the newly expanded chill store and optimise the warehouse to complement the increased production and growth of the business.
DEYA dismantled some of the racking themselves so that the RediRack installation team could hit the ground running and get straight to work reinstalling the new layout.
The final design included runs of racking around the perimeter of the chill store, allowing for bulk storage of kegs in the centre. RediRack installed steel panels in some locations to make shelves within the racking for handpicking smaller items such as boxes of hops.
SEMA Approved Racking Inspections
RediRack are full members of SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association), with our installation and inspection teams fully SARI (SEMA Approved Rack Inspector), and SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme) registered.

DEYA made the most of this and also used the opportunity to make the most of their manual handling equipment by optimising a reach truck to work in the chill store, and due to its more compact size, compared to the counterbalance, it has allowed them more space for storage of stock.
Since the re-installation, DEYA has experienced improved day-to-day workflow within the warehouse due to everything being nicely organised and laid out, especially in terms of picking stock.
